Red Bull Launch
Red Bull is launched in Austria on 1 April 1987. A new product category is born: Energy Drinks. And a new dimension in communication: high-quality storytelling at the service of a brand.
The first The Red Bulletin
The Red Bulletin is published for the first time at the Monaco Grand Prix and is printed directly in the drivers' paddock.
Foundation of Red Bull Media House
Dietrich Mateschitz founds the Red Bull Media House to bundle Red Bull's media activities.
The Red Bulletin is launched as a monthly magazine
Starting in November, The Red Bulletin is published as a monthly magazine, initially in Austria.
The Red Bulletin becomes an international lifestyle magazine
With dozens of international journalism awards to its name, the magazine is now published in Germany, the U.S., UK and France.
Servus in Stadt & Land
The first issue of "Servus in Stadt & Land" is delivered on 30 November – and in less than a year becomes the best-selling monthly magazine in Austria.
Terra Mater
Discovering and understanding the world: This is the motto under which the nature and knowledge magazine launches on the market and thus addresses an absolute premium target group.
Bergwelten
The first issue of Bergwelten and the launch of bergwelten.com are the beginning of a success story. Today, Bergwelten is the outdoor medium with the widest reach in the D-A-CH region and the quality leader in multimedia storytelling.
Co-Publishing
Red Bull Media House Publishing offers its expertise in multimedia storytelling to external partners for the first time.
carpe diem
The first issue of carpe diem – the magazine for the good life – is published on 6 June. At the same time, carpediem.life goes online. Thanks to an innovative distribution partnership with UNIQA, carpe diem immediately became one of the highest-circulation media brands in the health segment.
BÜHNE
In collaboration with the Wiener Bühnenverein, Red Bull Media House Publishing develops BÜHNE into a multimedia and multi-award-winning magazine brand.
